I'm here to shed light on the effects of stress on our trading abilities. It is what caused me to continue pressing buttons, knowing it would not end well.

“When trading under pressure, several physiological and psychological transformations can occur. “

Let's explore these transformations and discuss the time it takes for them to manifest.

Physiological Transformations:

• Activation of the Stress Response: When under pressure, the body's stress response is triggered, leading to the release of hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. This physiological reaction prepares the body for a fight-or-flight response. 👀👀

   When I learned this, I was like, oh damn, that's why I act like a TARD

•  Risk-Seeking Behavior: Some traders may exhibit risk-seeking behavior when under pressure. The drive to achieve success and overcome challenges can lead to taking higher risks.

• Cognitive Changes: Under pressure, cognitive functions may be impacted. Rational thinking may be compromised, and traders may become more impulsive or prone to making errors in judgment.

• Emotional Fluctuations: Pressure can trigger intense emotions, ranging from excitement and euphoria during winning streaks to fear and anxiety during losses. Emotional fluctuations can influence decision-making and trading performance.

  The time it takes for these transformations to manifest is 30 - 45 minutes this is why I preach no more that 30 MIN !!!!

  It's important to note that understanding how stress affects your trading performance and are bodies. This explains why you do stupid shit over and over. Just like I did today!
